Eevee Heroes will be released in Japan tomorrow, 27th May 2021 and sold out on pre-release. This eagerly awaited set contains 69 regular cards and a whopping 32 secret rares.
Four of these, Leafeon, Glaceon, Sylveon, and Umbreon also have VMAX cards, secret rainbow rare and special art cards. There is also a gold secret rare Inteleon and special energy card.
It is believed that cards from this set will feature in a Western set at some point. They will either form part of the August Evolving Skies expansion set, the 25th Anniversary set or another set to be released later this year.
With a set number of just 69 cards it was initially thought that Eevee Heroes would be a special set where booster packs and boxes are not available. Rather, cards are sold in Elite Trainer Boxes or special Collection Sets and tins. However, it is now (4th June 2021) believed that they will form part of another set. The likelihood is Evolving Skies due to the name, but it is not yet certain.
Including these cards in a larger set means they will be available as all product types. Given that there will be a very high demand for these cards it is assumed that Pokémon would want to make them as available as possible.
It will be interesting to see what happens regarding this set but what is certain is that as soon as the set is offered for sale it will sell out.
**Update – on 12th June 2021, it was confirmed that the set Eevee Heroes would form part of the Evolving Skies expansion set due to be released on 27th August 2021.
