Pokémon BREAK cards were first introduced in 2015 with the launch of the XY BREAKThrough expansion set. These cards differ from regular Pokémon cards in that they are printed horizontally. In the Trading Card Game (TCG) they are placed horizontally over their regular form card to cover the illustration at the top of the card. Pokémon BREAK cards give an additional Attack or Ability as well as an increased HP.
All BREAK Cards are marked with a BREAK symbol.
