Is the 30th Celebration Ditto Premium Collection good value for money?
The box contains one regular sized Ditto Black Star Promo card, a unique Acrylic Card Display and 8 30th Celebration Booster Packs.
This set is a special celebratory set where Booster Packs and Booster Boxes are not available. All products for this release are in exceptionally high demand, and any product with a good number of Booster Packs particularly so. Individual Booster Packs generally retail for around £4.50 in the UK and $4.50 in the US but but are expected to be much higher on selling sites such as Ebay. The Ditto Promo card is a full art card and likely to be worth around £6 / $6 while the Acrylic Card Display could retail for £10 / $10 or more.
Taking the prices above, the eight Booster Packs would therefore cost at least £36 ($36) if bought individually, adding the expected value of the Promo Card and the Card Display takes the total value to around £52 or $52. This is more than the recommended retail price of £39.99 / $39.99 and therefore represents good value for money if you are lucky enough to be able to purchase one at recommended retail price, but may not be good value if purchasing from sellers who add a considerable mark up to the recommended price.
