What are the 30th Celebration Ultra Premium Collections?
The 30th Celebration Ultra Premium Collections are a set of two boxed Pokémon products that are scheduled for release on 6th November as part of the 30th Celebration expansion set. There is a ‘Day’ version and a ‘Night’ version of the box. The recommended retail price for each box is £179 in the UK / $179 in the US.
The artwork for both boxes is similar featuring the 30th Anniversary symbol against a white background surrounded by a swirl of blue / green for the day box and yellow / purple for the night box. Both boxes champion Pikachu ex. The day box also champions Espeon and the night box Umbreon.

Are the 30th Celebration Ultra Premium Collections Value for Money?
At first look spending nearly £200 / $200 on a product seems a large amount of money. It is nearly four times the price of a standard Elite Trainer Box and around more expensive than a Booster Box.
Pokémon TCG products are currently (July 2026) in unprecendented demand and this 30th Anniversary product is expected to see the highest demand of all 30th Celebration products. As a special set, 30th Celebration Booster packs can only be obtained through set products. Both boxes include a whopping 29 standard booster packs as well as a special Classic Collection Booster Pack. They also include two Promo cards as well as a neoprene playmat with unique artwork.
Single Booster Packs generally retail for between £5 and £6 in the UK and $5 -6 in the US. The 30th Celebration Booster packs only contain foil cards and are likely to be selling considerably more on marketplace sites. The Classic Collection Booster Packs are likely to be even more. Taking a median price of £5.50 / $5.50 per booster gives a valuation for all Booster Packs of £165 / $165.
Neoprene Playmats tend to retail for around £20 / $20 and again, these special celebratory prints are likely to be resold for much higher. So the lower valuation of the Boosters and the Playmat alone are more than £179 / $179.
When including the two foil Promo Cards and additional accessories, these boxes are clearly very good value for money. However, it is likely that many retailers, and all marketplace sellers will offer these boxes at highly inflated prices. When considering whether or not to purchase always consider the recommended retail price and whether the markup is fair.
Ultra Premium Collections also offer good investment opportunities particularly for anniversary special sets. The Celebrations Ultra Premium Collection released in 2021 to celebrate 25 years of Pokémon, is currently selling on Ebay UK for around £1000 and on Ebay.com for around $1000, while a sealed SV 151 Ultra Premium Collection box can be purchased for around £700 on Ebay UK and $700 on Ebay.com.
