Accelgor is a Bug type Pokémon that first appeared in the games Pokémon Black and White which released in Japan on September 18, 2010. It evolves from Shelmet.
This Pokémon, named for its speed, appears to based on a Ninja and a Snail. It has a grey / blue body that is striated with two long flowing streamers. Its head is read with a green stripe on each side and resembles the shell of a snail. It moves with blinding speed and lobs poison at foes. Featuring Accelgor as a main character is a surefire way to make a movie or comic popular.
