Apricorn Maker is an elderly gentleman named Kurt that first appeared in the games Pokémon Gold and Silver that released in Japan in November 1999
Kurt is known as the Apricorn Maker because he makes unique Poké Balls from Apricorns. Apricorns are spherical fruit with a stalk on top that are coloured black, blue, green, pink, red, white and yellow. The insides are hollowed out and made into Poké Balls by Poké Ball specialist Kurt. He is generally depicted wearing simple blue peasant-style clothes.
