What are the Black Bolt, White Flare Elite Trainer Boxes Release Date?
The two Elite Trainer Boxes for this dual set will release on 18th July 2025, the launch date of this final expansion set of the Scarlet and Violet Series. Elite Trainer Boxes are a standard feature of all Pokémon sets and are very popular TCG Products for collectors. Sealed boxes often see a huge increase in value over the years.
There are different designs for each set. There are also Pokémon Center versions of the boxes. The regular Elite Trainer Boxes have a recommended retail price of £54.99 in the UK and $59.99 in the US, while the Pokémon Center boxes are £54.99 and $59.99 respectively. Due to high demand, most stockists have set a purchase limit for these products.
The Black Bolt and White Flare Elite Trainer Boxes (ETBs) are a special set of cards and accessories that include everything required to play the Pokémon Trading Card game.
This expansion set sees a focus on Pokémon native to the Unova region. The artwork for the Black Bolt box features Zekrom while the White Flare box features Reshiram.
The Black Bolt features Zekrom depicted in black with blue markings against a lower background of black and an upper background of blue. The White Flare box sees Reshiram depicted in white with red markings against a lower background of white and an upper background of red. Both boxes are the standard size of 16.5 x 19 x 8.9 cm (6.5 x 7.5 x 3.5 inches).

The contents of each box are contained in an inner box which is designed to function as a card holder once the products inside have been removed.

Pokémon Center Black Bolt, White Flare Elite Trainer Boxes
The artwork for the Pokémon Center Black Bolt and White Flare Elite Trainer Boxes feature the same characters as their regular counterparts. The artwork for the boxes is also the same except that each has the Poké Ball Pokémon Center logo at the bottom of each box. Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Boxes are generally £10 / $10 more expensive than their regular counterparts.
The contents of these Elite Trainer boxes are similar to the regular boxes but each has an extra 2 extra booster packs and an additional Promo Card.
