What are the Chien-Pao ex & Tinkaton ex Battle Decks?
The Pokémon Chien-Pao ex & Tinkaton ex Battle Decks released on 14th July 2023. They are the second ex Battle decks of the Scarlet & Violet series and replace the V Battle Decks of Sword and Shield. They are expected to retail for £9.99 in the UK and $9.99 in the US.
Battle Decks and Theme decks are produced with gamers in mind. They include a selection of cards that make up a ready-to-play themed deck and include everything needed to get started playing the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The cards are often taken from a variety of expansion sets within a particular series.
The Chien-Pao ex & Tinkaton ex Battle decks are listed as level 1 and are aimed at players who are learning to play the game or who have only been playing for a short while. More experienced gamers with a greater understanding of the cards available will be able to put together their own decks.
Each box has a cut out section on the front which reveals the featured black star promo cards for each set – Chien-Pao ex SVP030 and Tinkaton ex SVP031.
