From 2011 – 2022, Ultra Rare Cards were the last numbers in the regular set of cards.
Prior to 2011, they were Special Rare Holo cards. But from 2011 they have always been full art cards.
With the launch of the Scarlet and Violet Base Set on 31st March 2023, card rarities were redefined. Ultra Rare cards now numbered higher than the set number and are marked with a rarity symbol of two white stars.
