What is the Destined Rivals Elite Trainer Box Release Date?
The Destined Rivals Elite Trainer box will release on 30th May 2025, the launch date of this tenth Scarlet and Violet main expansion set. There is just one box design and it will be the sixteenth Elite Trainer Box of the Generation IX series. There is also Pokémon Center version of the box. The regular Destined Rivals Elite Trainer Box has a recommended retail price of £49.99 in the UK and $49.99 in the US. Due to high demand, Pokémon Centers have set a purchase limit for this product.
The Destined Rivals Elite Trainer Box (ETB), like other ETBs, is a special set of cards and accessories that includes everything required to play the Pokémon Trading Card game.
This expansion set sees the return of Team Rocket and the continuation of Trainer’s Pokémon. The artwork for the box features Team Rocket Boss Giovanni with Mewtwo. Both are depicted in black, outlined in red against a red and black background. The box measure 16.5 x 19 x 8.9 cm (6.5 x 7.5 x 3.5 inches).

Pokémon Center Destined Rivals Elite Trainer Box
The artwork for the Pokémon Center Journey Together Elite Trainer Box also features Giovanni with Mewtwo in black with red outlines, but the background is red rather than red and black. This version also it features the Poké Ball Pokémon Center logo at the bottom of each box. Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Boxes are generally £10 / $10 more expensive than their regular counterparts.
The contents of the Pokémon Center Destined Rivals Elite Trainer box is similar to the regular boxes with the addition of 2 extra booster packs and an additional Promo Card.
