This Pokémon is a large creature that resembles a hippopotamus. It is coloured dark grey on its upper body and a sand colour underneath. It is noted for its powerful jaws and sharp, crushing teeth. Stones can get stuck in the ports on their bodies. Dwebble help dislodge such stones, so Hippowdon look after these Pokémon.
