Parasect Pokédex Information
Parasect is a Bug / Grass type Pokémon that first appeared in the games Pokémon Red and Blue which released in Japan on 12th September 1999. It evolves from Paras.
Parasect is a six-legged Pokémon that is believed to be based on a cicada nymph but also bears resemblance to a crab and has a large mushroom on its back. It has an orange head, body and legs and two spherical white eyes. Its front pair of legs are much thicker and resemble claws. On its back is a large pink mushroom that is covered with orange spots. The bug host is drained of energy by the mushroom on its back. The mushroom appears to do all the thinking.
