Pitch Black is the fifth expansion set of the Mega Evolution series. It was revealed on April 30th 2026 and releases on 17th July 2026.
What do we know about Pitch Black?
It was revealed that Pitch Black would continue to feature Mega Evolution Pokémon within a Lumiose City setting.
The reveal description states:
‘Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution – Pitch Black will introduce Mega Evolution Pokémon featured in the Mega Dimension DLC from the Pokémon Legends: Z-A video game.
Trainers can discover new cards, including Mega Darkrai ex, which emerges from the shadows with commanding presence, and Mega Zeraora ex, which strikes back with electrifying power. The expansion also features Mega Chandelure ex and Mega Excadrill ex, each bringing dynamic strategies and powerful battles to the forefront.‘
