The artwork for the tins features the 30th Celebration design of multiple Pikachu outlined in grey against a white background. The Greninja ex tin, has a night / city design of purple and red, while the Sylveon ex tin has a day / countryside design of green and blue.

The blurb on the back of each tin reads:

Celebrate Pokémon All Day & Night!

Celebrate 30 years of Pokémon with a powerful Pokémon ex! With this tin, you can choose the whimsical Sylveon ex or the clever Greninja ex, each showing off an attack that can change the course of a game in an instant! You also get a handful of Booster Packs from the special 30th Celebration expansion to keep the fun going around the clock.’

What is inside the 30th Celebration Tins?

The contents of the tins are similar to previous collection tins:

Each tin will contain a foil Promo card featuring:
Greninja ex or Sylveon ex
4  Pokémon 30th Celebration booster packs
A code card for the online game

Who is this Product aimed at?

These tins are ideal for:

Sealed tin collectors, collectors of 30th Celebration merchandise, fans of Greninja or Sylveon, obtaining 30th Celebration Booster Packs and for giving as a gift.

Are the 30th Celebration Tins good value for money?

Each tin contains 4 Pokémon 30th Celebration Booster packs, a foil double rare Card and a code card for the online game.

The 30th Celebration expansion is eagerly anticipated and TCG products are selling out as soon as they are listed for pre-order. As a special set Booster Packs are not separately available. It is likely that demand will be very high and sealed individual Booster packs that are resold are likely to fetch a higher than usual price – likely around £6 / $6 per pack. The foil cards are likely to sell for at least £4 / $4

Using the estimated valuations above, this gives the four booster packs a value of £24 / $24, while the foil card could cost upwards of £4 / $4. This takes the value of the contents to around £28 / $28 which is above to the recommended retail price for these products.

Pokémon tins are also highly collectable items, especially when the artwork features popular Pokémon. Sealed tins may increase over time, but there is also a market for empty tins.

These products are, therefore, good value for money provided they are purchased for the recommended retail price. If purchasing at a higher price buyers should consider whether buying products individually would be better value.
