What are the Spring 2026 Tins?

These Pokémon TCG Products are a set of two Collection Tins that are scheduled to release on 20th February 2026. The tins are the first set of Spring Collection tins to be released in the Mega Evolution series.

Both tins feature popular Pokémon Charizard. One tin depicts Mega Charizard X while the other features Mega Charizard Y. They have a recommended retail price of £21.99 in the UK and $21.99 in the US.

Mega Charizard X & Y Tins

The Spring 2026 Tins feature unique artwork, both with backgrounds of multi-colour swirls, stripes and splodges. The right side of each features parallel black and yellow lines that extend from top to bottom. The Pokémon logo sits at the centre top above the cut out section, while the featured Pokémon is depicted beneath.

The blurb on the back of the tin reads:

Choose Your Charizard
Under the right conditions – including a strong bond with its Trainer – Charizard can surpass its own limits and Mega Evolve! With this tin, you can choose the raging blue flames of Mega Charizard X ex or the aerial agility of Mega Charizard Y ex, then find more Pokémon inside a handful of booster packs.’

What is inside the Spring 2026 Tins?

The contents of the tins are similar to previous collection tins:

Each tin will contain a foil card featuring Mega Charizard X ex or Mega Charizard Y ex

4  Pokémon booster packs

Who is this Product aimed at?

These tins are ideal for:

Sealed tin collectors, fans of Charizard and for giving as a gift.

Are the Spring 2026 Tins good value for money?

Each tin contains 4 Pokémon Booster packs, a foil and a code card for the online game.

Individual booster packs are generally available for purchase on selling sites for around £4.50 / $4.50. The foil cards are half-art ex cards that may fetch around £4 / $4 on auction sites.

Four booster packs would cost £18 / $18, while the foil card could cost around £4 / $4. This takes the value of the contents to £22 / $22 which is equal to the recommended retail price for these products.

However, Pokémon tins are collectable items, especially when the artwork features popular Pokémon. Sealed tins may increase over time, but there is also a market for empty tins.

In conclusion this product does represent value for money.
