Gengar is a popular Generation I Pokémon that first appeared in the games Pokémon Red and Blue which were released in Japan on 12th September 1999.
The first Gengar Pokémon card was released in 1999 with the launch of the Pokémon Fossil Set. To date 52 Gengar cards have been produced.
