Pidgeot Pokédex Information

Pidgeot is a Normal / Flying type Pokémon that first appeared in Pokémon Red and Blue which released internationally on 28th September 1998. It evolves from Pidgeotto and is the final evolution of Pidgey.

Pidgeot is a bird that may be based on a hawk or an osprey. Its back and upper wing feathers are brown, while its chest and underside wing feathers are cream coloured. It has a long plume of red and yellow feathers on its head and red tail feathers. This Pokémon flies at Mach 2 speed, seeking prey. Its large talons are feared as wicked weapons.

It can evolve to Mega form with Pidgeotite. In this form it is bigger and heavier with a larger wing span. Its plumage is much more colourful and flamboyant. Its wings are brown and cream with blue tips, while its tail feathers are also tipped with blue. The plumage on its head is much longer and resembles a pink streamer. With its muscular strength now greatly increased, it can fly continuously for two weeks without resting.
