What are the Pokémon Mega Forces Tins?
These Pokémon TCG Products are a set of three Collection Tins that are scheduled to release on 28th August 2026. The tins are the third set of Collection tins to be released in the Mega Evolution series.
All three tins feature Mega Pokémon: Darkrai, Dragonite and Zeraora. They have a recommended retail price of £21.99 in the UK and $21.99 in the US.
All three Tins have a similar style artwork but use colours that reflect each Pokémon’s type. The Mega Darkrai ex tin uses dark colours that reflect its Dark type. Similarly, the Zeraora tin artwork is predominantly yellow, symbolic of its Electric type. The Dragonite artwork features an orange background rather than the golden colour associated with Dragon type Pokémon. The featured character is displayed beneath the cut-out window of each tin.

Are the Mega Forces Tins good value for money?
Each tin contains 4 Pokémon Booster packs, a foil and a code card for the online game.
Individual booster packs are generally available for purchase on selling sites for a minimum £4.50 / $4.50, often considerably more. The foil cards are half-art ex cards that would be expected to cost at least £6 / $6 if purchased individually.
Four booster packs would cost £18 / $18, while the foil card could cost around £6+ / $6+. This takes the value of the contents to at least £24 / $24 which is above to the recommended retail price for these products.
Pokémon tins are also highly collectable items, especially when the artwork features popular Pokémon. Sealed tins may increase over time, but there is also a market for empty tins.
In conclusion this product does represent value for money.
