What is the Pokémon Knock Out Collection Summer 2023?
The Pokémon TCG Knock Out Collection Summer 2023 is now available for purchase from Pokémon Centers around the World. This is the second Knock Out Collection box, the first was released in January 2023.
Measuring 16.5 cm (6.5 inches) by 7.9 cm (3 inches) x 2cm (1 inch), the set is on sale for £9.99 in the UK and $9.99 in the US.
The box is black with green markings and features images of three cards – Shaymin, Zeraora and Marshadow. The bottom of the box features green and black zig-zag lines with images of Shaymin, Zeraora and Marshadow.

The box contains:
1 foil card featuring Shaymin
1 foil card featuring Zeraora
1 foil card featuring Marshadow
2 sticker sheets
2 Pokémon TCG booster packs

Is the Pokémon Knock Out Collection Summer 2023 Good Value for Money?
The box contains three rare holo cards – Shaymin 015/185 from Vivid Voltage, Zeraora 061/185 also from Vivid Voltage and Rapid Strike Marshadow 080/203 from Evolving Skies. Two booster packs and two sheets of stickers.
The holo cards are currently available on Ebay UK for around £1.50 / $1.50 each. Individual booster packs generally retail for around £4 in the UK and $4 in the US.
Two Booster packs would therefore cost £8 / $8. Adding the expected value of the three cards takes the total to around £12.50 / $12.50 which is higher than the retail price in the UK and the US. The Pokémon Knock Out Collection Summer 2023 is therefore reasonable value for money.
It should be noted that the two Vivid Voltage cards are marked D and are no longer playable in the current Standard Form Rotation.
