The Pokémon 30th Anniversary set is a special expansion set of the Mega Evolution series that celebrates 30 years of Pokémon. It was revealed on Monday 1st June 2026 and will release from 16th September 2026.
What do we know about the 30th Anniversary set?
It was revealed that the set would release simultaneously across all global markets and that a new card rarity – Futuristic Rare would be introduced. These special cards will feature dynamic artwork by artist YOSHIROTTEN.
Each Booster Pack will include 6 foil cards – 1 Basic Energy, 1 Pikachu card and 4 other cards.
The 30 unique Pikachu cards will each be illustrated by a different artist. Other cards in the set will include both daytime and nightime scenes.
A 30-card subset featuring reprints of classic Pokémon cards from across all generations will also be included. These cards will be marked with a Pikachu 30 stamp.
The set will include:
A regular set of over 128 cards
Cards will be numbered – ??/128
Cards will be marked with the set icon
Within the main set there will be 30 Pikachu cards that are stamped with
and given an additional set number ??/30
There will also be a subset of 30 classic Pokémon cards each stamped with
and numbered with their historical card number.
30th Anniversary Set Pack Art
The artwork for the set Booster Packs has been revealed. As a special set there is a single design featuring Mew, Mewtwo and Pikachu.
