What is Luminous Energy?
Luminous Energy is a Special Energy that is used in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). It has only been released once – in the Paldea Evolved Set of 2023, when one card was released.

The Luminous Energy card provides one of any Energy. The card design features the rainbow energy symbol.
In the Pokémon TCG, a player can only use an Attack Move if the specified number of Energy are attached. This specified number generally includes one or more Energy that corresponds to the Pokémon type, and / or a number of Colorless Energy. Luminous Energy Cards provide one of any type of Energy.
Luminous Energy Card Text:
The text on the card reads:
‘As long as this card is attached to a Pokémon, it provides every type of Energy but only 1 at a time.
If the Pokémon this card is attached to has any other Special Energy attached, this card provides Colorless Energy instead.’
