Generation IX Pokémon Complete List with Images

Pokémon Generation IX launched Worldwide on 18th November 2022 with the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The expansion The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Pt 1 The Teal Mask released on 13th September 2023 with Pt 2 The Indigo Disk is scheduled for release on 14th December 2023.

There are more than 115 Generation IX Pokémon with the first being Sprigatito and the latest announced being Terapagos. 105 were released with the launch of Scarlet and Violet while a further 6 launched with the Pt 1 expansion. At least 4 new Pokémon are expected with the release of Pt 2.

Generation IX is set in the Paldea Region which is based on the Kansai region of Japan. Professor Sada and Professor Turo are the resident Professors and the starter Pokémon are Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly.
