What is Beast Energy?
Beast Energy is a Special Energy that is used in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). To date it has only been released once – in the Sun and Moon Forbidden Light set of 2018.

Beast Energy cards provide one Colorless Energy. When attached to an Ultra Beast it provides one of any type of energy. The card design features one Colorless Energy symbol.
In the Pokémon TCG, a player can only use an Attack Move if the specified number of Energy are attached. This specified number generally includes one or more Energy that corresponds to the Pokémon type, and / or a number of Colorless Energy. Beast Energy Cards provide one Colorless Energy.

The text on the card reads:
‘This card provides 
Energy.
While this card is attached to an Ultra Beast, it provides every type of Energy but provides only 1 Energy at a time. The attacks of the Ultra Beast this card is attached to do 30 more damage to your opponent’s Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).‘
