What are My First Battle Mini Decks?
The Pokémon My First Battle Mini Decks are a new product scheduled for release on 29th September 2023. They are similar to the Battle Academy products released in 2020 and 2022. Designated Level 1, they are aimed at beginners learning to play the game.
There are two variations of the product. One featuring Grass / Electric types: Bulbasaur, Oddish, Pikachu, and Voltorb; while the other features Fire / Water types: Charmander, Vulpix, Squirtle, and Poliwag.
The artwork for the boxes depicts the featured characters against a natural landscape of grass, water, mountains and trees.

Each Set includes:
- 2 x 17 card decks
- 2 x Playmats
- 1 x Metallic Coin
- 1 x Sheet of Damage Counters
- 6 x Prize Tokens
- 1 x Rulebook for the game
