When is the Pokémon Go February 2024 Community Day?

The Pokémon Go February 2024 Community Day has been revealed and will take place on Sunday 4th February.

 

What are Pokémon Go Community Days?

Pokémon Go Community Days are monthly or bi-monthly events where a specified Pokémon will appear more frequently than usual. Classic Community Days feature classic Generation I Pokémon. 

These special event days may also feature unique research tasks, increased bonuses and the opportunity for the featured Pokémon to learn exclusive attacks.

For the duration of Pokémon Go Community days, there is always an increased number of players online, giving more opportunities for battle and also for meeting players in the local area. 

 

Sunday 4th February 2024 – Pokémon Go Community Day

Details – This event takes place from 2pm to 5pm local time and will feature Normal type Pokémon Chansey. Additionally, shiny Chansey may also make an appearance. Chansey evolves from Happiny and there will be an increased chance of hatching Happiny from 2km eggs. Chansey evolves to Blissey with high friendship and players that manage to evolve Chansey by 10pm will receive a Blissey that knows the move Charged Attack Wild Charge. 

Event Bonuses – the following bonuses have been announced:

2× Candy for catching Pokémon

2× Chances for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon

Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours

Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours

1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in Incubators during the event period.

Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise

One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day (from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. local time)

Trades will require 50% less Stardust (from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. local time)

Research – A themed Field Research will be available! Catch Chansey to earn rewards such as additional encounters with Chansey, Stardust, Great Balls, and more!

Stickers – Get event-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop.
