What is Single Strike Energy?
Single Strike Energy is a Special Energy that is used in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). It has only been released once – in the Battle Styles Set of 2021, when two versions of the card were produced.

The Single Strike Energy card provides Fighting or Darkness Energy, but only if attached to a Single Strike form Pokémon. The card design features a combination of the Fighting and Darkness Energy symbols.
In the Pokémon TCG, a player can only use an Attack Move if the specified number of Energy are attached. This specified number generally includes one or more Energy that corresponds to the Pokémon type, and / or a number of Colorless Energy. Single Strike Energy Cards provide one Fighting or one Darkness Energy.
Single Strike Energy Card Text:
The text on the card reads:
‘This card can only be attached to a Single Strike Pokémon. If this card is attached to anything other than a Single Strike Pokémon, discard this card.
As long as this card is attached to a Pokémon, it provides 
and 
Energy but provides only 1 Energy at a time, and the attacks of the Pokémon this card is attached to do 20 more damage to your opponent’s Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).‘
