What is Gift Energy?
Gift Energy is a Special Energy that is used in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). It has only been released once – in the Lost Origin Set of 2022.

The Gift Energy card provides one Colorless Energy. The card design features the Colorless Energy symbol.
In the Pokémon TCG, a player can only use an Attack Move if the specified number of Energy are attached. This specified number generally includes one or more Energy that corresponds to the Pokémon type, and / or a number of Colorless Energy. Gift Energy Cards provide one Colorless Energy.
Gift Energy Card Text:
The text on the card reads:
‘As long as this card is attached to a Pokémon, it provides 
Energy.
If the Pokémon this card is attached to is Knocked Out by damage from an attack from your opponent’s Pokémon, draw cards until you have 7 cards in your hand.‘
