Bug Gym Leaders are Trainers that specialise in the training and battling with Bug type Pokémon.
They have proved their ability and become leaders of a City Gym.
Throughout the Pokémon game series, players have to defeat Gym Leaders before challenging the Elite Four and finally the existing Champion in order to win the games. Within the games, a number of Gym Leaders only use Bug type Pokémon.
To have the best chance of defeating Bug Gym Leaders, the player’s team should include those Pokémon types whose attacks that are strong when attacking Bug types – Fire, Flying and Rock type Pokémon.

Aaron is the first of the Elite Four in the Sinnoh League of the games Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum and Brilliant Diamond Shining Pearl.
When defeated, players move on to the second of the Elite Four, Bertha.

Bug Gym Leaders
Bugsy
Bugsy is Gym Leader of the Azalea Gym in the games Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, SoulSilver, Black 2 and White 2.
He gives up the Hive badge when defeated.
The Bug Pokémon that he battles with are:

Burgh
Burgh is the leader of the Castelia City Gym in the games Black & White and Black & White 2.

Viola
Viola is Gym Leader of the Santalune City Gym in the games Pokémon X and Y.
