Drednaw is a Water / Rock type Pokémon that first appeared in the games Pokémon Sword and Shield which released in November 2019. It evolves from Chewtle.

Drednaw is a four-legged Pokémon that is based on a turtle. In its regular form its body and legs are green and its two front legs each have a brown triangular projection at the knee joint. It has a green square shaped head but its strong jaw is brown. Its shell is also brown and made out of rock. Its massive, jagged teeth can crush a boulder in a single bite. This Pokémon has an extremely vicious disposition.

Drednaw can evolve to Gigantamax form with the Dynamax band. In this form it is much bigger and heavier and stands on two legs. It now has three triangular projections on each knee and three on each arm. Its jaw is also more powerful. It responded to Gigantamax energy by becoming bipedal. First it comes crashing down on foes, and then it finishes them off with its massive jaws.
