Ninetales Pokédex Information
Ninetales is a Fire type Pokémon that first appeared in the games Pokémon Red and Blue which released in Japan on 12th September 1999. It evolves from Vulpix.
Ninetales is a four-legged Pokémon that is based on a fox. Its fur is cream, short on its body and legs and shaggy around its neck. It has two red eyes and a black nose. Its two ears stand up on its head and a long mane of cream fur sprouts from its head. It has nine magnificent, thick tails that flow out from behind its body. It is said to live 1,000 years, and each of its tails is loaded with supernatural powers.
When it appears in the Alola region Ninetales takes on a different form. Alolan Ninetales is an Ice / Fairy type and its fur is now blue. Its mane and tail are comprised of long curly blue fur. A deity resides in the snowy mountains where this Pokémon lives. In ancient times, it was worshiped as that deity’s incarnation.
