Moltres Pokédex Information
Moltres is a Fire / Flying type character that first appeared in Pokémon Red and Blue which released internationally on 28th September 1998. It does not evolve.
Moltres is one of the three legendary birds, the others being Articuno and Zapdos. It is a fiery bird that may be based on the legendary Phoenix. It has a long neck, a sharp pointed beak and golden feathers that radiate flames. When Moltres flaps its flaming wings, they glimmer with a dazzling red glow.
When it appears in the Galarian region it takes on a different form. In this form it has a black body and its plumage is pink and red. This Pokémon’s sinister, flame-like aura will consume the spirit of any creature it hits. Victims become burned-out shadows of themselves.
